What We Believe

There is one living and true God eternally existing in three manifestations: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

For to us, a child is born, to us, a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9: 6)

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God… (Philippians 2: 6)

And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. (Luke 3: 21-22)

The Bible is the authoritative Word of God.

And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe. (1 Thessalonians 2: 13)

Jesus Christ is the only Son of God who lived a sinless, perfect life on earth, was sacrificed on the cross for our sins and was resurrected.

You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Highest. (Luke 1: 31-32)

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time. (1 Corinthians 15: 3-6)

Jesus will one day return.

At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. (Matthew 24: 30)

Jesus is the only way to God.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14: 6)

The Great Commission of the church is to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every person.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28: 19-20)

All who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.

By grace, you have been saved through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2: 8-9)

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1: 12)
